Othakarhaka Foundation received a donation of solar lights from ZUWA Energy, a leading solar asset consumer financing company in Malawi.
This donation comes at an important time as we continue building homes under the Bricks of Hope Housing Project, in partnership with IDI Africa. Many of the villages where these houses are being constructed do not have electricity, which makes everyday life difficult for families, especially after sunset.
The solar lights donated by ZUWA will be installed in the homes we are building, ensuring that families can have reliable light at night. This will support children with studying, make it easier for parents to complete household tasks, and improve day-to-day life in the home.
At Othakarhaka Foundation, we believe that meaningful change is built through practical support and strong partnerships. This donation is a reminder that when organizations work together, communities benefit in real and lasting ways.
