Recently, Othakarhaka Foundation welcomed 64 new students into our Sponsorship Program, 40 girls and 24 boys, joining the growing number of students we support across 22 secondary schools in Malawi. Among these new students are two teen mothers, demonstrating extraordinary determination to continue their education and pursue their dreams.
Earlier this year, we held our annual entrance exams, where hundreds of applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds participated. After careful review, these 64 students were selected to receive full support, opening doors to new learning opportunities.
Through the Sponsorship Program, we provide access to quality education, mentorship, essential school supplies, and consistent support. These students now embark on an exciting journey of growth, equipped with the tools and guidance to thrive academically and personally. We are confident they will make meaningful contributions in their schools and communities.
