We are grateful to have received a donation of essential medicines from MAP International, in partnership with I Demand Access (IDA), in support of the Othakarhaka Community Clinic. This contribution marks an important step in strengthening the services we provide to communities that rely on our clinic for primary healthcare.
For many families in the surrounding areas, access to healthcare remains a daily challenge. Long distances to the nearest hospital, limited transport options, and financial constraints often delay or prevent people from receiving timely treatment. The availability of essential medicines at our clinic is therefore not just important, but vital. It allows us to provide free and reliable basic healthcare services and respond more effectively to common illnesses within the community.
At Othakarhaka Foundation, we remain deeply committed to improving access to quality healthcare and supporting the well-being of vulnerable families. Our community clinic plays a key role in this mission, serving as a first point of care for many who would otherwise go without treatment.
We extend our sincere appreciation to MAP International and I Demand Access for their generosity and partnership. Special thanks also go to Christy Brown for the coordination and support that made this meaningful contribution possible.
Together, we continue working towards healthier communities and a future where access to basic healthcare is within reach for all.
