Othakarhaka Foundation has received a significant boost in its mission to promote education following the donation of ten laptops from WILD TECH through international volunteers Craig Reiley and Bradley Popovich.
The donation is helping bridge the digital gap for students pursuing higher education by providing them with access to essential learning tools. The laptops were distributed to students studying at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) and Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS), enabling them to access online learning resources, conduct research, complete assignments more efficiently, and strengthen their digital skills.
For many students, access to a personal laptop can make a meaningful difference in their academic journey. With technology playing an increasingly important role in education, the donation is helping create opportunities for students to learn, grow, and succeed in their respective fields of study.
Seeing the laptops already being put to good use by the students is encouraging for the Foundation. It reflects the impact that access to technology can have on young people working hard to achieve their educational goals.
