2018 was a great year for Arthur Hassan as he was among the selected students to pursue a Bachelor’s of Education (Languages) at Mzuzu University (MZUNI).
Hassan has been a beneficiary of Othakarhaka (OTK) Foundation’s education program since his secondary school days at Chambe in Mulanje.
Hassan, a second born son in a family of 3 stays with their mother who is a widow and depends on small scale business to earn a living.
“I will forever be grateful to my sponsors through OTK and all other well-wishers, friends, and relatives who have supported me throughout my education. Now that I have graduated, I am happy to pay forward the support by sponsoring other needy students through the Othakarhaka foundation”, he said. Executive Director for OTK Ida Puliwa said she is so proud of him and wishes him all the success in his future endeavors.
